Collecting your passport after the visa is approved in Kraków
Your visa was approved but the passport stayed at the consulate — that is how it works. Here is when to expect it and how to collect it in Kraków: free by appointment, on the same day, or through me.
When the passport will be ready
If your visa is approved, the passport stays at the consulate. It is usually ready in 3–5 business days, sometimes as soon as the next day.
Each applicant gets a separate email saying the passport is ready. If you went as a family, there will be several emails — one per person.
Delivery or self-pickup
How you get the passport depends on what you chose when booking the interview: delivery within Poland or self-pickup.
With delivery, a courier brings the passport to the address you gave. With self-pickup, passports are handed out at Mail Boxes Etc., ul. Królewska 51, and there are two ways to collect it.
Free: by appointment
- The “passport ready” email has a booking link — a separate one for each applicant.
- Book a slot for each of them. The earliest is the next business day.
- Come at the time you booked. Pickup by appointment is free.
Same day: no booking, 30 zł
If you need the passport sooner, no booking is needed. Come on the day of the email between 15:00 and 17:00 and collect it.
This option has a fee: 30 zł per passport.
Where the pickup point is
The pickup point is Mail Boxes Etc., ul. Królewska 51. The nearest tram stop is Biprostal.
I can collect the passport for you
If you have already left Kraków or cannot come yourself, I can collect the passport for you and send it by Nova Poshta.
The price is 100 zł + 700 UAH.
For this I will need:
- a completed authorisation;
- a copy of the applicant’s passport.
