For Ukrainian citizens in Ukraine and elsewhere in Europe
The U.S. Department of State lists Kraków and Warsaw as nonimmigrant visa processing locations for Ukrainian citizens. If you live in another European country, you may also apply in your country of residence; applications based on residence require proof of residence. Check appointment requirements for your visa category before paying fees or travelling.
If you do not speak Polish or English
If you cannot understand questions and respond in Polish or English, you need an interpreter to communicate at the interview. Arrange their participation in advance according to your appointment instructions and obtain admission confirmation. I interpret your answers from Ukrainian or Russian into English; the consular officer makes the visa decision.
Appointments and travel
First confirm your interview location and date in the official appointment system. Immigrant visas follow different procedures. Contacting an interpreter does not book a consular appointment.
